“Extraordinary”- Toronto Star Sarah Laing

“Astounding, both musically and conceptually”- Everything Zoomer

“An incredibly moving work of musical art.”- NPR’s Rhythm Atlas

Performed during the week that commemorates Kristallnacht 85 years ago, Silent Tears, The Last Yiddish Tango is based on poems, testimonies and writings of women who survived the Holocaust. The project, which recently reached #1 on World Music Charts Europe, began when Dr. Paula David launched a poetry program to help elderly Holocaust survivors deal with long term trauma from horrific crimes.

Silent Tears, created by Payadora Tango and journalist/producer Dan Rosenberg, also includes works based on Holocaust survivor Molly Applebaum's diary and memoir, Buried Words.

From inspiring songs about survival to mournful laments, this award-winning program conveys an almost indescribable depth of emotion rarely sung about.

VIP tickets available and include Premium Seating in the first two rows and a Post-show Meet & Greet Reception with the Artists. Light food and beverages included.

STUDENT and TEACHER tickets available in price level 3 by choosing STUDENT or TEACHER ticket type. Valid Student or Teacher ID required. Students must be age 18 and under.
